This page outlines how to add and use the test submission task in Rob Angelostanto's courses in AssessBook.

test submission task:

Go in to the course that you wish to add the task to, turn editing on and then click 'Add an activity or resource'. From the list, choose 'assignment' and then click 'add' at the bottom:

Give the assignment the name of 'Test Submission', deselect and submission types and under 'feedback types', select 'feedback comments' and 'feedback files':

Under the 'grade' tab, change the grade type to 'scale' and then from the scale dropdown, select 'ROB':

Under activity completion, change the completion tracking to 'show activity as complete when conditions are met' and then set it so that learners must receive a grade to complete this activity:

Click 'save and display' and this will add the test submission task to the course. 

How to use the test submission task:


Once you have ticked that the learner has completed the workshop, click in to the activity within the course which in this case is 'test submission':

In the next screen, click 'view all submissions':

You will then be taken to the below page where you can click the 'grade' button next to each user that has attended the workshop:

Here you can mark the task as either complete or not complete from the drop down dependent on whether the user has submitted the test, there is also a file upload option if Rob decides he would like to upload the users tests to the course as evidence of completion:

Once the 'complete' mark has been given, the course will show as complete in the users profile:
