Homepage
When first logging into AssessBook, you will be taken to your Dashboard, the central hub from which you can access your learning, find additional courses, and view your profile.
There are 6 areas on your Homepage that you will commonly use:
1 – Main Menu
2 – Homepage, Messages and Notifications
3 – Mandatory Courses
4 – Mental Health Awareness
5 – Self Learning
6 – My Profile
Main Menu
The Main Menu provides quick links to other pages within the site.
The first of these, Home, will take you to your Homepage from any page within the system.
The second of these, My Bookings, will display all past and upcoming workshop bookings:
The third of these, Record of Learning, will display all of your current objectives in addition to your course and program enrolments. You will also be able to track your progress on each from here:
The fourth main menu option, Required Learning, documents your mandatory course/program enrolments:
From the fifth option, PDR, you will be taken to your latest PDR which you can continue to complete:
The sixth main menu option, Find Learning, will re-direct you to the course catalogue from which you can find all courses open to you for self-enrolment:
The final main menu option, Calendar, will allow you to track any workshop bookings:
Homepage, Messages and Notifications
The home icon can be used to return the user to the Homepage in the same way as the Home main menu option.
The envelope icon can be used to access your internal messages.
The bell icon can be used to access any notifications you may have been sent. These can be in relation to courses/tasks being overdue or having completed learning.
Mandatory Courses
By clicking on any of the course icons listed under Mandatory Courses, you will be linked directly to your mandatory learning. You can access these courses from here at any time.
Mental Health Awareness
Likewise, the icons listed under Mental Health Awareness, will link directly to courses under the Mental Health Awareness category.
Self Enrolment
Similarly, the icons listed under Self Enrolment, will take the user directly to courses to which you can self enrol at any time.
My Profile
From My Profile, you can access and view your profile as well as the number of courses you have completed. By selecting ‘View Profile’, you will be taken to your profile page, in which you can edit your details, adjust your preferences or access your Record of Learning and Learning Plans (if relevant).
