Glossary

FFD Check: or Fitness for Duty checks are the default check on ACMS and are designed as a quick check of whether or not a person is fit for duty.

Custom Checks: bespoke checks set up by TOCs.

Fitness For Duty and Custom Checks can also be completed on aCheck.

Once the app has been activated against ACMS, it is possible to perform checks on candidates by searching for them by name or selecting the depot that they are in.

The Location field must be filled in before a check can be completed. After selecting a candidate, their check record will load in the right-hand column, showing all historic and scheduled checks. It is possible to filter what is displayed by Check Type

Did you know?
When completing Custom Checks, you will always have the option to also complete a FFD check at the same time. This is based on the assumption that when someone is completing a Custom Check, they should also evaluate the overall wellbeing of the candidate.

Once checks have been completed a sync must be carried out so that they are uploaded to ACMS.

FAQs

What do I do if I have an issue on my app?

Contact the ACMS admin. If the issue persists they may request your app logs and database which they can pass on to us for further investigation.

How do I find the activation code?

Your ACMS admin should be able to provide you with the activation code. Often they will add the activation code as a News article on ACMS, so you may find it on your Homepage.

Why are my login credentials not working?

Firstly, have you recently changed your password? If so, it may be worth doing a 'Sync Users' from the login page on aAssess so that your new password is pulled from ACMS. If you haven't changed your password then you may not have the correct user access for aAssess. In this case, get in contact with your ACMS admin.
