The following document details how to use the Personnel Medical Update Tool.

This tool is designed to update all the medical expiry dates to align with the ACMS medical rules. This tool is usually ran when there has been a change to the medical rules for one of the roles on ACMS.

Rules

  • The tool will update all the GENERAL medical expiry dates, including historic medicals, for all candidates on ACMS, ensuring that the expiry dates aligns with the medical rules.
  • The tool will update the GENERAL medical date, if the medical date is null (blank), to be the created time of the medical.
  • This tool will only update GENERAL medicals.

Validation

  • Customers to check the GENERAL medical expiry dates of candidates in a variety of roles, to check that these align with medical rules.

Process

  1. Medical rules changed on ACMS live site
  2. Live data copied across to the ACMS data test site
  3. Personnel Medical Update Tool ran on the data test site
  4. Customer to validate this data and confirm that they are happy with the data.
  5. Personnel Medical Update Tool ran on the live site (Requires Downtime)
