Overview

This page outlines how to add a SCORM package to a course.

Navigate back to the main quiz page and click '+ Add an activity or resource' in the next topic and choose 'SCORM package' from the drop down. You will then be taken to the below page to begin adding the details of your SCORM activity.

First you will need to give the SCORM package a name and an optional description.

Next, you will need to add your SCORM package to the activity, you can either upload the SCORM package or add an external link:

To add the SCORM package from a link,  simply put the URL in the 'URL' section on the page. To upload the SCORM package, simply drag and drop the file in to the specified box.

In the 'Appearance' window, you can chose whether to display the SCORM package in the same window or to display it is in a new window. We recommend that you keep it as the default setting of current window, as opening the SCORM package in a new tab can cause issues with pop ups?

You then have the below compatibility settings to chose from:

Force completed: If enabled, the status of the current attempt is forced to completed

Auto-continue: If enabled, subsequent learning objects are launched automatically, otherwise the continue button must be used.

Auto-commit: If enabled, SCORM data is automatically saved to the database. Useful for SCORM objects which do not save their data regularly.

Next you will need to complete the below activity completion settings. Once the SCORM package has been set up as required, click 'Save and return to course':

You have now successfully added a SCORM activity to your course.
